The Department of Botany, Providence Women\u2019s College (Autonomous), Kozhikode, organized a two-day workshop titled\u00a0\u201cEarth Watch Network \u2013 An Interactive Session with Students\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a05 and 6 February 2026<\/strong>\u00a0at the MV Hall, with support from the\u00a0Kerala State Biodiversity Board<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The programme was inaugurated by\u00a0Dr. Manju K.P., District Co-ordinator, KSBB<\/strong>, who emphasized the importance of biodiversity conservation.\u00a0Dr. Joby Paul<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, St. Thomas College, Thrissur, conducted the technical sessions, providing training in biodiversity assessment and digital documentation.<\/p>\n

The workshop focused on the conservation and documentation of plant and animal diversity at\u00a0Florican Hill, Malaparamba<\/strong>, offering students valuable field experience and practical learning. The programme concluded successfully with active student participation.<\/p>\n<\/div>
