As part of the Research Forum of the Department of English, the progress presentation of 2 PhD scholars was held on 5 October 2023 at 3:30 PM in the III BA English classroom. Y.M. Minisha presented on the topic "Criminal Representation: An Analysis of Mediated Crimes in Indian Crime Films/Web Series". Sreekuttan S. presented on the topic "Relocating the Second Wave: Political Resistance and Ethno-Specificity in Contemporary Tamil Cinema". The session was attended by faculty, research scholars, and PG students who participated in a lively discussion.
Interview for selection of candidates for Ph.D registration under Dr.Surya K(vacancy -1 for JRF/Teacher Candidates) scheduled online on 30 September, 2023 at 11 am has been postponed to 9 October, 6.30 pm via Google Meet. The R&D Cell of the department of English organised a project presentation for the third year students at 10:25 AM on 23 August 2023. Anasooya Thorakkattu of 2020-23 batch made a presentation based on her UG project titled "Whither Truth? A Post-Truth Critique of the Docuseries House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths".
