The Ayur Club, Department of History, and Women\u2019s Cell of Providence Women\u2019s
\nCollege (Autonomous) jointly organized the inaugural function of \u201cMA \u2013 The Real
\nSheroes\u201d on 28 October 2025 at MV Hall from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
\nThe event, themed \u201cOdyssey of Healing,\u201d aimed to create a global circle where every
\nsurvivor\u2019s voice becomes an inspiration for others, symbolizing resilience and empowerment.
\nThe program featured member talks under the collective segment \u201cOur Sheroes\u2019 Stories,\u201d
\nwhich included reflections such as \u201cMy Mirror, My Unflinching Twin,\u201d \u201cPain to Gain,\u201d
\n\u201cWhen Her Battle Built Me,\u201d and \u201cI Survived, You Can Too.\u201d These narratives celebrated
\nstrength, recovery, and the transformative power of shared experiences.
\nPresidential address was delivered by our Principal ,Dr.Sr.Ashmitha. Dr. Shaji K. Aiyllath,
\nSenior Consultant in Surgical Oncology, Director of 64 Codon (Bioscience Research
\nCompany), and Medical Advisor to CanCure (NGO), addressed the gathering and shared
\nvaluable insights into the medical and emotional dimensions of healing. The program also
\nincluded video messages from the community, reinforcing solidarity among the survivors.
\nThe event marked an inspiring beginning for \u201cMA \u2013 The Real Sheroes,\u201d reaffirming the
\ninstitution\u2019s commitment to promoting mental well-being, empathy, and interdisciplinary
\nengagement through social awareness initiatives.
\nA balloon art competition was held and prizes were distributed to the winners.<\/p>\n<\/div>
