Department of physics, Providence women’s college conducted three day workshop titled “Three Days Under the Stars: An Astronomy Skill Workshop” skill\u00a0 on 14,15,17 th November 2025 . Dr.Nijo Varghese, Assistant Professor of Physics in Sacred Heart College, handled the session.\u00a0 Session covered a wide range of topics, including the fundamentals of observational astronomy, astro-imaging and image processing, as well as the construction of a refractor telescope. Participants also learned to use the telescope for solar observation and to study sunspots.<\/div>\n

The workshop strengthened the participant’s understanding of practical astronomy and provided a hands on experience. Also it inspired a lifelong curiosity and appreciation for the night sky.<\/div>\n<\/div>
