On 9th December, 2025 the department of Physics organized a seminar on Energy Audit. The session was led by Mr. Pavitran, a former KSEB officer.<\/p>\n

During the morning session, the speaker explained in detail how an energy audit is conducted. He discussed the power consumption of various electrical appliances used in our daily life and highlighted the key factors and guided students on the career path of becoming an energy auditor. To make the session more practical and relatable, he demonstrated real KSEB electricity bills of different institutions and explained how energy charges are calculated.<\/div>\n

The afternoon session<\/div>\n
included a hands-on activity on star making using LEDs. The speaker also demonstrated how a conventional fan can be converted into a BLDC fan, emphasizing energy conservation .<\/div>\n
