A\u00a0seminar on \u201cPlant Science and Research Matters\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0was conducted by the\u00a0Department of Botany<\/strong>, in association with the\u00a0Research and Development (R&D) Cell<\/strong>, Providence Women\u2019s College (Autonomous), Kozhikode, on\u00a002 December 2025<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a010.30 am to 12.30 pm<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0MV Hall<\/strong>. The session was handled by\u00a0Professor Minoo Divakaran<\/strong>, Director of Research, Providence Women\u2019s College, who delivered an insightful talk highlighting current trends, challenges, and opportunities in plant science research. This was followed by another talk by\u00a0Mrs. Fathima Rafieah<\/strong>, Research Scholar, Providence Women\u2019s College, on the topic\u00a0\u201cConnecting Concepts to Theory\u201d<\/strong>, emphasizing the integration of theoretical knowledge with research practice. The seminar was informative and motivating, encouraging students and faculty to actively engage in research-oriented learning.<\/p>\n<\/div>
