The Department of Economics, Providence Women\u2019s College (Autonomous), organized the\u00a0Edwina Memorial Debate Competition on 17 February 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Open Stage<\/b>. The theme for the debate was \u201cImpact of Social Media on Youth<\/b>.\u201d The competition provided a dynamic platform for students to express their perspectives, critically analyze contemporary issues, and enhance their public speaking and argumentative skills. Participants engaged in thoughtful discussions, presenting balanced views on the opportunities and challenges posed by social media in shaping the attitudes, behaviour, and aspirations of today\u2019s youth. The event successfully fostered critical thinking and constructive dialogue among students.<\/p>\n<\/div>
