The cell helps the students to optimally utilize the benefits of the schemes offered by the State Government and Government of India. The SC/ST cell of the college strives to ensure that, officials/faculty members of our institution would desist from any act of discrimination against SC/ST students on grounds of their social origin. Further the Cell ensures that no official/faculty members of our college indulge in any kind of discrimination against any student belonging to SC/ST community

Aims/objectives

  • To ensure the effective implementation of the reservation policy in admission
  • To promote special interest of the students in the reserved category
  • To provide special inputs in areas where the students experience difficulties
  • To function as a Grievance Redressal Cell for the grievances of the SC/ST students
  • To monitor any caste-based discrimination in the campus
  • To make the SC/ST students aware of the various scholarship programmes of State and Central Governments
  • To implement special training for SC/ST students for placement and higher studies
  • To follow up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down for the purpose by the Government of India and the UGC

To register complaint

Complaints of caste discrimination may be lodged through online grievance portal provided on this web page. The aggrieved person can directly approach and register their complaint either orally or in written form to the Head of the Institution. Students may report to the convenor of SC/ST cell about the complaint.
