The Department of Mathematics and Statistics,  organized a certificate Course titled “Getting Started with LaTeX: An Introduction” on 5th January 2026. The session was handled by the resource person Ms. Dona Alex, a dedicated Research Scholar at NIT Trichy. A total of 33 students attended the session

The Department of Mathematics visited IISER Thiruvananthapuram, as part of an institutional visit on 13th February 2026. A total of 34 students from first-year UG and first-year PG participated in the visit.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics  organized the Association Inauguration and National Seminar on 5 February 2026 at 10:00 AM in Carmel Hall. The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Sunil Mathew, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Calicut. As part of the event, Dr. Sunil Mathew delivered a session on Universal Mathematics .A total of 85 students from UG and PG attended the session.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics conducted project presentations for current UG third-year and second-year PG students, led by selected students from the 2025 batch. UG presentations were held on 13-02-2026 and PG presentations on 06-02-2026, both from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. A total of 24 UG students and 13 PG students attended the sessions.
