Department of Physics organized a 3-day workshop on Data Analysis and Machine Learning with Python from August 6 to 8, 2025, in association with Trycle. The program was conducted at Providence Women’s College, and it witnessed enthusiastic participation from physics students and faculty members of various colleges including those from Providence itself. The inagugural session was graced by Dr. Sr. Ashmitha A.C, Principal of Providence Women’s College, who officially inaugurated the workshop. The Physics Association organized a Freshers' Party titled "Newtonum pillerum" for first-year undergraduate students On July 11, 2025, at 1 pm.Head of the Department, Dr. Sini R., welcomes the students to the Physics family and introduces them to the other faculty members of the Physics Department. As an ice-breaking session for the first-year students, the second-year students organized many fun games and other entertaining programmes at the party.The event became more colorful with the students' cultural programs.

"Unveiling the Physicists of Tomorrow" - Student Project Presentation The Research and Development Cell of the Department of Physics hosted a student project presentation titled "Unveiling the Physicists of Tomorrow." The session took place on July 18, 2025, at 9:30 AM in MV Hall. Senior students who had just graduated from the college gave the presentations, which included their published works. Abhina K. P., Nikitha S.
