The Department of Economics organized a discourse titled “US Trade Policy: Tariffs and Its Impact” on 8th October 2025. The session was delivered by Prof. Vipin Veettil, Faculty of Economics, IIM Kozhikode, who offered valuable insights into global trade dynamics and policy implications.
The event was followed by an enlightening talk on “Ignorant by Choice: How funding seats, not students, broke Kerala colleges—and how to fix it.”
With the active participation of 100 students, the programme held at Carmel Hall proved to be an engaging and intellectually stimulating experience.
