A vocational training Centre for women of the neighbourhood  functions under the Women’s cell of our college. An exhibition and sale of their products were put up on12-08-25 at the premises of the college auditorium. Principal Dr.Sr.Ashmitha AC  inaugurated the exhibition. Another exhibition and sale of the products of Women’s Cell was organised in connection with the International Womens day on 10-3-26.

The Department of Economics, Providence Women’s College (Autonomous), organized the Edwina Memorial Debate Competition on 17 February 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Open Stage. The theme for the debate was “Impact of Social Media on Youth.” The competition provided a dynamic platform for students to express their perspectives, critically analyze contemporary issues, and enhance their public speaking and argumentative skills.
