A seminar on “Plant Science and Research Matters” was conducted by the ബോട്ടണി, in association with the Research and Development (R&D) Cell, Providence Women’s College (Autonomous), Kozhikode, on 02 December 2025 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at എംവി ഹാൾ. The session was handled by Professor Minoo Divakaran, Director of Research, Providence Women’s College, who delivered an insightful talk highlighting current trends, challenges, and opportunities in plant science research. This was followed by another talk by Mrs. Fathima Rafieah, Research Scholar, Providence Women’s College, on the topic “Connecting Concepts to Theory”, emphasizing the integration of theoretical knowledge with research practice. The seminar was informative and motivating, encouraging students and faculty to actively engage in research-oriented learning.
