Urja, the energy club in collaboration with the departments of physics and chemistry, held a debate competition on January 19, 2026. The topic presented was “Phasing Out Fossil Fuels: An Imperative for India’s Energy Transition.” The event was engaging, highlighting the immediate dangers of fossil fuels in India along with their associated threats, while also offering fresh perspectives on the issue. The competition was judged by Dr. Sini and Dr. Vidhya, with moderation provided by Mrs. Hasna. Group A, consisting of Fathima Asra and Vyshnavi, won first prize and received congratulations from the teachers.
