The Department of Economics, Providence Women’s College, in collaboration with Seethalayam, conducted an insightful awareness session on 10 March 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Organized as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations, the session focused on two highly relevant contemporary topics: “PCOD and Digital Detox.”
The event featured expert speakers including Dr. Bindu S. (Seethalayam Convenor), Dr. Sithara Perveen (NAM MO), and Geethanjali Thamban (Clinical Psychologist). The session provided a comprehensive platform for students to understand the physiological challenges of PCOD and the psychological necessity of managing digital consumption. By combining medical expertise with psychological insights, the program successfully fostered a holistic approach to women’s health and well-being, empowering students with the knowledge to maintain a healthy lifestyle in the modern age.
