The Moon Landing Day celebrations were flagged off with a flash mob by students of the Physics Department.
Following this, a caption-writing competition was held in front of the auditorium. Many students participated, writing creative captions for a comic picture.A creative writing competition was held at 12 .00 pm , on the theme ‘If I woke up on the moon’.At 1:30 PM, a quiz was held in the AV hall. After the first round of elimination, five teams advanced to the final stage.Parvana( 2nd chemistry ),Chitra.S(1st English),Devananandha.K.S ( 1st psychology) secured first prizes in various programs.
On June 13, 2025, Department of physics organized an environmental awareness program at Christuraja L.P. School.
The main aim was to educate children on how to protect nature and avoid practices harmful to the environment.
We conducted interactive sessions explaining simple ways to care for nature.
Students were introduced to the idea of recycling and sustainable habits. A workshop on making seed paper pens was held.
These pens are made from recycled paper and contain seeds that grow into plants after use.
The children actively participated in making and learning the importance of such eco-friendly products. As a part of the initiative, we gifted small tree saplings to the school.
We encouraged them to plant and take care of the trees.
Teachers from the Department of Physics also actively took part in the event.
The program helped students learn practical steps to save nature.
It was a successful and inspiring event promoting sustainability and green practices.
