CHEMISTRY

The department of Chemistry  organised  a quiz competition as a part of Moleday celebration on the 22nd October 2025 at Room No. 12. The theme of the quiz was 'Guess the Scientist', to honour the pioneers who contributed to the growth of Science. The quiz competition was a grand success with over 15 students participating in the program.

Inauguration of the Chemistry association was conducted on 16th October 2025 from 2.30 PM to 4.00 PM at the MV Hall. Prof. Rajiv S Menon, Dept of Chemistry, University of Calicut  was the Chief guest for the function. Following the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Rajiv delivered an informative lecture on 'Organic Chemistry- A force that shaped Modern Civilisation'. A total of 72 students from I, II and III BSc Chemistry and six faculties attended the program. Winners of various competitions conducted by the department were facilitated in the event.
