The Department of Psychology Association organized its Valedictory Ceremony on 20/02/2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Sherone K. P. R., Assistant Professor and Programme Director of M.Sc. Clinical Psychology, Philosophy, Psychology and Scientific Heritage (PPSH), Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth. The Annual Lecture on Cinema Studies for 2025-26 was delivered by Dr. Robin Xavier, Assistant Professor, Research and PG Department of English, St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Devagiri on 19th February 2026 at 1.30 pm in the MV Hall. The lecture was titled, "Reframing the Hero: Hegemonic Masculinity and Resistance in Contemporary Malayalam Cinema" and explored areas including Representation in Cinema, Representation of the Male (Hero) in Malayalam cinema, Caste in Cinema – Hegemony/Homogenization of Identities, Toxic and Sensitive Masculinities and Subordinate Masculinities: Dalit, Muslim & non-Syrian Christian Representations in cinema.

A one-day industrial visit to Kusumagiri Mental Health Centre, Kakkanad, Kerala, was organized by the Department of Psychology in February 2026 for second-year students. A total of 36 students, accompanied by two faculty members, participated in the visit. The programme provided practical exposure to the functioning of a mental health institution. Students attended an orientation session and gained insights into various departments, treatment approaches, and the roles of mental health professionals. The visit enhanced their understanding of clinical practice and its real-world applications.

Study Tour to Rajasthan- Dept of Economics

The Department of Economics organized a Study Tour to Rajasthan from December 3rd to 9th 2025, with the participation of 40 students and faculty members. During the seven-day tour, students visited major cities including Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur. The visit provided practical exposure to tourism economics, heritage management, and the functioning of local markets and small-scale industries. Students explored important historical sites and interacted with local traders, helping them connect theoretical concepts with real-world economic activities.
