A team of 13 students from the Department of Psychology visited Nayanar Balika Sadanam, Eranhipalam, on 3rd December 2025 as part of the World Disability Day observance, aligning with SDG Goal 10 - Reduced Inequalities. The visit emphasized the message that disability is not a weakness, but a different way of being strong. Students interacted with the residents and participated in cultural activities, including dance and songs, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. The programme provided meaningful exposure and strengthened the values of empathy, inclusivity, and social responsibility.

“Pathfinder: Career Research Readiness Program” – Dept. of Psychology

The Department of Psychology organized a “Pathfinder: Career Research Readiness Program” on 31st October for all first-year Psychology students at 10:30 a.m. The session was led by Dr. Minoo Divakaran, Retired Professor, Department of Botany, and Director of Research and Consultancy, Providence College. The program aimed to enlighten students about the importance of research in shaping their academic and professional journey.
