The Department of Economics, Providence Women’s College (Autonomous), Calicut, organized an Intercollegiate Panel Discussion on the Union Budget 2026–27 at Carmel Hall at 11 AM. The session brought together faculty members and students from different institutions to engage in an insightful and critical analysis of the key proposals and policy implications of the Union Budget. The discussion was moderated by Ms. Anupama A, Faculty Member, Department of Economics. The panel included Mrs. Divya Philip, Assistant Professor, Bishop Kurialacherry College, Kottayam, along with student representatives from various colleges. The programme provided a vibrant academic platform for participants to deliberate on fiscal priorities, sectoral allocations, and the broader economic impact of the Union Budget, encouraging analytical thinking and informed debate among students.
